20 Rainwater Tips That Any Gardener Can Use - Beginner Or Pro
Rainwater is far superior for plants compared to tap water, primarily because it lacks chlorine and chloramine, which can be harmful to plant health. Today, I'll walk you through my process of collecting an impressive 5,500 gallons of rainwater using an IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) system. I'll demonstrate how I efficiently distribute this water throughout my garden, making my gardening tasks simpler and more sustainable. Additionally, I'll provide tips on the optimal placement of your IBC system to ensure easy access and maximum convenience. Let’s get started on transforming your garden into a thriving, eco-friendly oasis.

I am English and now live in Portugal. When I was in Scotland's S.W. I had grape vines in a cold greenhouse on the gouter system and from year one cropped like mad and was getting a stone of grapes per plant. Now in the home of grapes i struggle to get them to produce at all. Why is this.

I have been trying this out, so my potato varieties when they start to reach maturity. I scrape back mulch and soil and find palm size potatoes and remove them. I notice marble size ones, those in turn reach golf ball size when I complete the harvest two weeks later. Have you ever tried that?

Do the pups have to be a certain size before you break them off the mother plant? I have 6 growing off a musa I bought last month.. they grew out of no where, but aren’t as big as your ones were yet. I’m so surprised I have so many so soon as the mother plant isn’t big herself

I planted 4 spots in a small garden with 2 in each spot muskmelons. 3 of them did well, one never grew and both the plants died. I replaced them with a tomato plant identical to 2 others in the garden that were doing very well. It just never grew much at all, but flowered and produced tomatoes, in spite of being less than 2 feet tall while the others grew normally. Does anyone care to speculate what is wrong with that spot? It got the same fertilizers as the other two spots. The plants just can't seem to uptake enough nutrients to grow there.

Thank you for this! No matter where or how I plant my tomatoes - in a different garden, in pots of new potting soil, mulched or not, my tomatoes die from some sort of wilt, right after setting lots of fruit. Please don't use stock photography in your videos - just more photos of your subject matter.
